Solid Snake Series is the new VA line showcasing the next generation of cutting edge electronic music combining dancefloor functionality with multifarious layered sonic exploration. It debuts the collaboration of label boss Phase Fatale with Falling Ethics owner P.E.A.R.L. as well as fellow KHIDI resident Yanamaste with a rare outing. Label mainstay Unhuman brings his sound directly into techno realm alongside Nørbak and the first track together by Ne/Re/A and Clarisa Kimskii from New York City. BITE celebrates the release of its new VA series at Berghain / Panorama Bar on October 17th.

Last fall when she crossed paths with Function (Dave Sumner), the mutual admiration was instantaneous and they developed a reciprocal appreciation for each other's creative output. Upon hearing the immediacy of her demos, Sumner didn’t just want a 12-inch; he proposed to work on a full-length Identity. The result now serves as solid evidence that she’s intentionally pushing the label forward into new places.

It’s no surprise that Sandwell District championed the album early on — nearly every track showed up in their sets and podcasts, marking Nastia Reigel as a new favorite artist of techno’s most influential collective.
