Satellite Maps is a long running music project (now recording project) that I started in Montreal in the mid-00s. This is a collaboration and co-written with one of the members of Satellite Maps who does a lot of modular synth stuff. We basically passed audio ideas back and forth and came up with this finished song. I play drums and analog synths on the song. Recorded in my home practice studio

A track from my previous band. It was recorded in Montreal at Hotel2Tango studio with Howard Bilerman (godspeed, Arcade Fire, Leonard Cohen) and mixed by John McEntire of Tortoise. This originated from a drum idea & groove that starts the song and then I added a keyboard melody which happens in the drone-y middle section. John McEntire also plays modular synths on the song

Anneaux Et Carillons - Silent Quiet Spaces

Another song from Silent Quiet Spaces, which also features John McEntire of Tortoise on vibraphone. The idea of this song came from a drum groove that used klanky percussion and mini-gong on the snare for the main drum part.The main melody came from a keyboard part I came up with before guitars and moog were added.

Chaque Fois Qu'elle Tourne Autour Du Soleil - Silent Quiet Spaces

A fun experiment for shits & giggles, partly inspired by John Coltrane's Interstellar Space. I took a generative patch from Propellerhead's Complex-1 Modular instrument and let it run for about 4min and then improvised on top of that. I also added a Bass analog synth melody on top to give it some extra melodic characteristics. Came up with the project name Arc of Ohms.

Another track from the same Satellite Maps session. Drums were re-recorded at home, adding the klanky percussion intro part. I wrote the main melody on my Korg Minilogue.

I'm a drummer, composer focused on experimental music. I also play analog keyboards and bit of guitar mainly for composing. My influences range from experimental, post rock and ambient to avant-jazz and free jazz. Originally from Montreal, I was very active in the Mile-End underground music scene. I'm now located in the lovely village of Old Aylmer across the bridge from Ottawa
