First track on Mojo Pep album from 1992 written by myself and Paul Brown after break up of Ill at Ease. Title nicked from Bob Dylan but, there the resemblance ends.  Mojo Pep were around the North East Music scene from around 90-98. This track about a typical Saturday night where you go home alone......

Welcome strangers and friends to 35 years of writing and recording.
 In the mid 80's I was in a Newcastle upon Tyne  based band called Ill at Ease who had some moderate success. We recorded a lot and I have recently remastered some of them and they are here for your listening pleasure. And then to the year 1990 after the invention of the cd and the computer which has made life so much easier to store. 
Back in that day, I was in  a band called Mojo Pep. Again, a reasonably well known band in the Newcastle area. We lasted till around 1996 and then went our separate ways..ish. Ted Hunter on guitar, Paul (sid) my twin on drums (just like Bros!!) Gary Brown on Bass,Lee Hope on Keys and myself on vocals and occasional guitar.  We recorded a shitload of stuff here is a selection.
After that, I did this that and the other. A short dalliance in a band called Skelter with Ted, Aaron Walton on drums and my much missed mate, Chris Hanratty on Bass.
Chris joined me on guitar in a band called Zubi, shortly after that. Big band, brass section, the works. Great players, everyone keen just impossible to keep going. Recorded one album, the futures not what it was, a few tracks on here as well. Main players included Paul Wight on drums, Paul Wilson on keyboards and Steve Ireland On Bass.
Around 2010 got another four piece band together called the Mitigations. Myself, Ted, Paul (sid) and another gentleman taken from us too soon, Mick Danby on Bass.
Recorded some stuff did just one gig. Nice one tho! Again, a few tracks of that in here as well.
In between, I have always wrote and recorded, mainly with Ted and some of those tracks  have been uploaded. 
There's plenty to choose from, a little something for everyone from acoustic, to pop, through to soul and the rest. Sometimes it just is what it is. If you want know more my email is posted, drop me a line, cos that would be nice.
