We Played a Red Axes gig at Lärm club , Budapest , it was one of the best alternative nights we had this year and the warm up from DJ Suhaid and DJ Crimson was so perfect that we asked them immediately for a Garzen Jukebox .

DJ Suhaid and DJ Crimson are proper underground kinda djs with impressive vinyls and visions. They are among the most sovereign figures of the Budapest club life. Both of them have been actively re-defining taste and orientation in the underground scene of the city for more than a decade. Or two. Férfimunka / Szép Booking nights is their mutual effort to share music they love and to create an atmosphere that’s is hard to find on other dancefloors with the help of guests like Fett Burger, JD Twitch, Cosmo Vitelli, Khidja or the Red Axes.

Siam is an israeli new wave band that was active between 1983-1990,
and played an important key figure in the Tel Avivian music culture and art back in the days.

This record is a clash between past and present with a slight wink to the future and we are very honored to press it.

On the A side you can find a Red Axes Edit of Siam's Tel Aviv Downtown, this is a fast time machine journey which takes the dirt and the safety pins of Tel Aviv in the 80s and delivers it on a futuristic cut. 

"In the realm of" was and still is a club anthem over here since it was released in 1989, and was mostly identified with the legendary "Penguin Club" (a crazy basement club which hosted all the best shows and parties during the 80s and 90s).

Abrão - The Tropical Magician.

Abrao, which means Abraham in Portuguese,
was born in 1963, in Sao Paulo, Brazil,
growing up in the 60s, in the jewish ghetto of Sao Paulo.

Abrão, which had a big lust for life,
was struggling with society rules,
and wanted to push new borders.

He was the lead singer of the underground post-punk band "Kafka",
performing a lot in the Sao Paulo area during the 80's.
He left the band, and travelled for a psychedelic musical research to India.
In 1997 he wanted to try and start a new life so he moved to Israel.

Also known as the mysterious voice behind the vocal productions of Red Axes,
such as Papa Sooma, Caminho de Dreyfus, Waiting for a surprise,
Sabor and many more.

So now, after several years of intensive touring and recording,
performing already on festivals such as Sonar and Primavera and many more, 
releasing on labels such as Correspondant, Crosstown Rebels, Multi Culti, and more.

Abrao will debut his first solo EP produced by Red Axes,
and released on their own imprint, Garzen Records.

One of the top drummers in the Israeli scene, Tel-Aviv based songwriter and producer BĘÃTFÓØT launches his solo project with the powerful new EP De Vibez, a fanciful gutter-glam cross between stoner-acid-pop and 90’s-garage-punk.

Side A contains some stunning originals alongside a surprising cover of a melancholic oldie by the legendary german singer Nico.
Side B be the remixes: the first, a colorful club-driven remix by Garzen Records head honchos & electronic duo Red Axes, followed by a groovy down tempo drone version by the mesmerizing Smagghe & Cross.
