hi. its been so long that idk what to really say here.  

this song means a lot to me because ive been on a journey myself of trying to find my way back home. my way back to myself. finding myself. or rather, returning to myself. 

this account has been with me through so much, and it’s really incredible to see just how far these silly edits have taken me over the course of these years. i realize now that even when i felt completely and utterly lost and alone, god was aligning my steps and cleaning up the road ahead of me. 

its felt really good to dive into the idea of god, and who he is to me. after having been a vehement atheist my whole life, to really have my entire worldview, mind, and perception be changed so much in such a short amount of time has been a mind boggling change for me to experience. 

a journey of truth is never an easy one, but i’ve really felt like ive found the missing piece to my life in him. 

and im happy :)

im happy because i no longer feel defeated everytime I open my eyes, i no longer feel the weight of comparison crushing my spirit whenever i look at my friends and my peers living their truths and making their dreams come true. 

i may not be the best, but thats okay for me, because i’m no longer ashamed to be me. and im returning to who that “me” really is, and it feels good. 

of course there are a lot of growing pains, but ive done so many things in this past year that i never would have ever thought possible for me just 2-4 years ago. 

i played my first international show in berlin (big ty to @candyflip030!) and rn as of writing this im slated to go to las vegas to perform my first domestic show with @purityleech and the roflcopter crew [6.28.2025!!!! so end of this month]

that inner critic inside of me still talks but im learning how to no longer listen to him. im learning what it means to believe in a vision and truly have faith. im learning what it means to surrender. im learning how to take the good with the bad, and find the good IN the bad. 

at the beginning of this year my entire life was turned upside down, i lost my friends, my bf, and pretty much my entire life. and i spent the end of last year living in fear and trying to claw on a door that god had closed for me. but now 6 months into 2025 im actually happier than ive been in a long time. and yes my new life is not easy, god is instilling in me the virtue of responsibility, but it is good. 

and i want to continue growing. I still battle with fear on a daily basis. I still have major anxieties and insecurities. and I still feel so unworthy of any kind of success that whenever I get any sliver of it I have the urge to self sabotage.... but im learning how to OVERCOME. 

i want to continue becoming the true version of me, the me that i never knew i could be. i know it’s in there, and i know i will find him, i just have to keep going, and i need to have faith. and i know that there are things that i want that i may not ever get, but im learning how to become okay with that. 

im finally thankful for this life of mine. and i can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to start living. yes i may be a late bloomer, but im glad to be blooming now nonetheless. this is just the beginning…. this is just the beginning  ⠀ ⠀ ˚₊‧꒰ა 𓂋 ໒꒱ ‧₊˚

whewwww!!! this is my first track of 2019, and so much has changed from when i posted "g0tta hav3" a full year ago from today. i think my audience per se has grown a lot since that release, and also i've grown a lot as an artist/person as well. 

..... i have so many thoughts swirling around in my head right now and i really don't know how to articulate them all..... 

OK so firstly...let me talk abt the song a bit:
i rlly love this song a lot bc it is a blend of three of my favorite things ever; 90's r&b, house music, and nightcore :)
so this song in particular, is a gasoiid™ approved nxc edit of one of my FAVORITE r&b songs: Tamia - So Into You. i have so many childhood memories of my mom playing this song on the way to school or just around the house (on her burned r&b classix cd; kinda iconic tbh). i just love the emotion of this song and the instrumentation as well, and i KNEW that i had to pay homage to the original original song somehow. the haus edit i found l8r (courtesy again of odd mob hehe) and i just knew this edit had to become a thing. 
i'm very happy with the way this turned out, and I kept the long intros of the oddmob song in incase ppl wanted to mix this in a set or sumn.

Secondly, i think i should mention that with the release of this song i will have only ONE nxc left to release! thats both bittersweet and exciting at the same time i think. if some of you do not yet know though, i want to hopefully gear my account towards more of a pop aesthetic ... which means writing songs ... ORIGINAL music hehehehe :))))))
i have just been SOOOOOO inspired lately by artists like @itthatkid and @djhimera, and they have kinda (indirectly and directly) inspired me to also pursue avenues of music that i've always wanted to pursue, but never felt good enough to.
sooo yeah! i'm excited for that era of gasoiid, and I have been working on a couple of great songs w a handful of producers, and the goal is to put out at least a mini-ep by the end of this year!
this doesn't mean that i now all of the sudden hate nightcore or anything... but rather I am feeling a new surge of INSPIRATION w the coming of 2019 to pursue my artistic endeavors (whereas me in 2018 was very ready to give up on music in general and just focus on dj'ing/school-only 👎)
i want to hopefully try and keep the authenticity and aesthetic of my nightcores alive in my original works, only this time thru a new medium!

i really don't know what to say for this description. all that's coming to my mind rn is that its truly insane how fast time really flies. back when i released s0—n2u earlier this year i was a completely different person. i was still in high school...and i was still so unsure of what my future had in store for me. these past couple of months have shown me tho that i have the ability to take grasp of my destiny + future, and mold it into whatever i want it to be. and tho it'll be hard....i would rather fight, then sit back and let others dictate who i will be in life. and i wouldn't have ever had this mindset or any of this newfound confidence that i do if it weren't for all of u guys. all of u guys who have had supported me and my endeavors and have lifted my spirits up in my darkest hours. 

and so .... essentially i want to say thank u. i want to say thank you for all of the love that you all have given me. without the constant support and reassurance of everyone .... idk where i'd truly be right now. its impossible to imagine my life had i never stumpled upon nxc/soundcloud....really. 

i also was thinking abt how i think its very apropos that i started this account in the beginning of high school and i'm posting my (presumably) last nxc 4 days b4 i move into college. this scene and the music within it has shaped me into the person i am now and its no exaggeration when i say that nxc truly saved my life. 

fun fact: this particular song was one of the first nightcores i ever made. i was looking at the metadata on my computer and i created it back in January of 2016. if i remember correctly that was one month after i had made my actual first nxc (a nxc of a remix of ellie goulding's goodness gracious LOL). when i heard the finished product, i knew right then that this was a classic, and that i had to wait until the right moment to release it. I sent it a couple times to @nitecorp, but to no avail, and ... i think it's bc the universe knew that this was it's intended purpose. in my opinion i think its the best nxc i've ever made (u guys could be the judge of whether that statement is true or not tho lool), and i couldn't think of any better song to close out my nxc era with.

im excited for my original music as well (thought i should mention that). definitely it's gonna take a long time to formulate and perfect but i have some really awesome ideas in mind and a couple phenomenal producers i've been in talks with so be on the lookout for that..........otherwise...............
