Satin Sheets was a popular country hit song written by John Volinkaty and first recorded by Bill Anderson and Jan Howard on their March 1972 duet album, Bill & Jan or (Jan & Bill). It was then famously covered by American country music artist Jeanne Pruett in February 1973 as the first single and title track from her album of the same name. The song was Pruett's only Number One country hit, as well as her only chart entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
Nat & I were asked by Jerry Madden if we would collaborate on this classic cover and we were all too happy to do so. Jerry shows his tasty guitar playing throughout and we thank him for giving us the opportunity to join him here.

Though I have never visited Ireland, Irish blood runs through my veins and I always seem to feel a surge of it this time of year.  Kerry County is considered by many one of the most beautiful places on Earth; the openness of crystal-blue sky reflected in the water, and an eternal green seen from horizon to horizon.  And if one is lucky, a glimpse of the Bog Pony might be caught.
