Synopsis : Au temps d’une révolution industrielle uchronique, la voix est devenue un objet de consommation
comme un autre. L’inventeur de ce commerce continue à faire tourner sa boutique, dans l’espoir obsessionnel de retrouver sa propre voix, celle qu’il regrette d’avoir sacrifiée pour réaliser la toute première vente. 
Sa rencontre inopinée avec le nouveau propriétaire de la voix donne lieu à l’irrémédiable perte de cette dernière, lorsque la pulsion identitaire du marchand se transforme en drame sanglant.
