After grinding and working long hours at the Seattle HempFest of 2019 I found myself inspired to make beats on the go but had no way of doing so. Until I did some research I came upon this little gem of a beast called the PO33 K.O manufactured by Teenage Engineering. I purchased one as soon as I got back to my home city of Portland and spent countless hours learning the ins and outs of this little device. 
After learning the po33 I found myself a new job that required a majority of my time so I had less time to do music stuff and found myself listening to the radio more than I wanted to. The only radio station that was able to keep me sane while working long hours was our local Jazz station 89.1 FM KMHD Jazz radio and there was one particular show called "Takin' Off"  hosted by my favorite host Isabel.
She would play some of the classic samples that I had listened to in rap songs growing up and she would also play some songs that I had never heard of, but sounded really really good. I would Shazam the songs that I liked and then record them into my PO33 and start making beats/loops. Here was the result in that and now I have finally put together this little 6 piece for you to enjoy.
