This release see’s 1Forty welcome its first duo to feature on the Label - Spectrum.

Spectrum is made up of Bristol based producers George, 19 & Finn, 23. Originally known as separate alias’s FHD & Hutchison the two have come together to take even bigger strides. Starting off 2018 with their release ‘Resonate’ on Articulate Records they have also secured releases on Project AllOut Records and Deeprot as well as forthcoming material on FooR’s Label - Yosh. The two stalwart producers have played just about every venue in Bristol including Motion, Lakota, Blue Mountain, Thekla & further afield in the likes of Southampton and Exeter.

The artists supporting their music is eye watering including names such as AC Slater, My Nu Leng, Bushbaby, Skepsis, Darkzy, Distinkt, Shapes, Holy Goof, Cause & Affect and more. With FHD amassing a following through creative mixing and technical ability on the decks, Hutchison’s production of an array of tracks that have been picked up by the scenes finest the two are propelling themselves up the ladder and fast.

As a label we were extremely happy with 2018 and our stamp on it, which is why we intend to keep up the same level energy as we traverse into an even more exciting 2019. We are therefore very proud to present this brand new compilation from us, featuring some of our favourite bass artists who have supplied us with some incredible original creations. 

We have assembled an awesome team of producers to bring forth the fire, including the likes of INVRSE, Axel Boy & Skippit, who all bring some exciting original designs to the table. We also have Blvckmore, Harry Tremlett, Nu Aspect and our very own KAKE & Luke Randall dipping into the pot with a bag of explosive future bass flavours, arranging monstrous 4x4 designs for us all to enjoy. At this point t’s clear to see for us that the levels within this release are constantly rising the further in we delve. 

The heavyweight styles then continue to flow as we also invite in the recently hailed Wheeto, along with Kissa, Jay Faded and Brent Kilner in to bless us with yet more incredible production work, hitting every niche within the bassline bracket and rounding up what we feel is a fantastic representation of the Gassed sound. We are continuously looking to push bass music around the UK, be it via official studio mixes or stacked releases such as this, which make a massive difference in raising the notoriety of the producers on our roster.

Luke Randall - Lemmings [Gassed Bass Invasion]

From a production and DJ point of view, there are few who have kept it as consistent as Rotherham’s @brent_kilner_music who has been at the forefront of cutting edge 4x4 bass music since way before it’s recent rise to prominence. He joins the Bass Invaders compilation roster with his wavy original entitled ‘Wake Up’, and it’s likely to make you do just that. Brent gets busy on this one, letting lose his recognisable signature synthesizer design across a molten bad of sharp drum creations and almost eskimo style pad stabs, rendering this one an absolute beast.
