Solid Steel (25th October) DK opens the first hour this week with another Cid Rim track from the Mute City EP, 'Numbers on the Board' by Pusha T, followed by the original Anthony King and John Matthews sample. Then it's new music from Mark Pritchard, new Ninja signing Lee Bannon and two tracks from the incredible William Onyeabor synth-driven Afro funk compilation on Luaka Bop. It's more album tracks from Special Request and Four Tet, a Pilooski remix for Owiny Sigoma Band and we close this mix with 90's New York house from Pal Joey. 
This takes us into our next guest who is a true legend of House music. Marshall Jefferson put his stamp on a lot of the genre defining tracks of the late eighties, touching on Acid and Deep house along the way. His productions under various names are just one part of the huge Trax Boxset that is out now, giving you the first 75 12" releases on this seminal Chicago label. His mix takes us through some of his pre House favourites with music from Nancy Martin, Klein & MBO, Kano and ending with his own classic track 'Move your body'.
