Death Metal/Deathcore/etc. This is a vocal cover I did of Another Way To Die by Disturbed. It was done in one try. I realize I get ahead of the song at times. But I decided to upload it anyways. I tried my best at the transition from screaming and growling into pig squealing. I'm not too good at switching between them. It sounded decent this time, but usually, alone, my squeals are better than this.

I'm experimenting with trying replicate a note revolving around someone's head with a lot of control voltages and LFOs controlling panning, volume, d/w on reverb. Also resonance, pitch and low:high band ratios to control a Doppler effect in specific time signature rates.
I'm sort of trying to simulate surround sound with stereo channels only.
Let me know what you think so far. This is fun! :)

So apparently it's Ambient-Week over at Propellerhead.. so naturally, that inspired me to do this because I love this sort of stuff. I'm honestly surprised how well this came out. Basically I just made a bunch of cool huge evolving pads and drones and tones and stuff. Put those in, automated to resonant stuff, put some delay on a piano, delay and reverb on som hihats, messed with a loop, reversing slices of it and such.. I also put in my "3d revolving trippiness" sound I made a while ago (you can find it alone in my tracks to focus on it better, it's a sound that revolves around your head if you wear headphones) and then to complete the trip's experience, I filled it with binaural tones, starting with Alpha waves, moving onto Theta waves, and ending on some Delta waves. (Don't listen to this while driving or operating machinery)

I was inspired by Andrew Huang to make a song out of some random noises that are not usually musical. So, I decided to use coins. Every single sound you hear is made from a coin or several coins.  Recorded with a TASCAM DR-05, edited, created, processed, mixed, and mastered in Propellerhead Reason

After a looong time, I've finally decided I could stop working on this, and figured out how to wrap it up and end it. I hope people like it. All sounds, synths, aside from the stems included with the remix pack download, and a few sounds taken out of Klayton's Sonix Producer Pack Vol. 1 (all of which I altered and affected to varying degrees), are original and designed by me using Propellerhead Reason 7. No outside synths, effects, plugins, VSTs, etc were used. Additional bass guitar in the intro written, performed, and recorded by me through PreSonus Audiobox44VSL. Mixed and Mastered by myself, monitored mainly on KRK KNS-8400.
SUPER HUGE THANKS to Celldweller for letting myself and hundreds of others destroy his song. I hope you can enjoy mine. Good look to all the other competitors and musicians entering. Take it and break it!

End Of An Empire (Gatchi Remix)

not done at all, but it's been this far for months, so I thought I'd share where it's at

Wayland and Trevor - Metal Song 1 (Work in progress)

Well, It's 3am and I just finished this track. For the last hour or two, I've been making the most chaotic raw sounds I think I've made into a song. I wrote, performed and recorded this all tonight with my Alesis Micron synthesizer, my guitar, my voice, my computer, and my mind. I didn't really plan any of this to happen, The synth parts, the vocals, and half the guitar was all improvised spontaneously on the spot, so I'm surprised how good this all became. This is the most effortlessly I've made music in a while and it sounds and feels so natural, maybe I'll continue doing more stuff in a process similar to how I did this. Let me know what you think about it anyways.

Sleepless

Starting work on an ambient/retro/vaporwave/noise/whatever else in that realm album. Here's the first song I've finished for it. This started with the beat; I sampled the noises from metal bowls being hit under running water, spilling out to change the pitch, etc. I chopped up like 5 minutes of that into 35 samples, which I used in several ways in the composition and sound design for this song. Utilized Reason's new drum sequencer to get some really cool controlled, but generating beats using different probabilities on certain steps. Then I messed around over it with my guitar and my new reverb pedal, TC Electronic's Trinity 2, quickly came up with something, recorded it, and then just built everything off from there. Lmk what you think. Hope you like! :)

Apogee

Some cool stuff with this one, but I kept it really minimalistic; 10 tracks total. I made all the reverses from messing with the chords on piano and bouncing them and reversing, stretching and pitching the waves differently. Automated some fun record stopping effects. I made the lead sound from blowing over a bottle and throwing it into Grain setting the loop area just right and adding just a touch reverb and some delay. Oh yeah, and campfire sounds are neat.
