So, when the topic revolves around these wonderful aural offerings we tend to love so deeply, the stakes are even higher and the feeling grows even stronger. Such is the essence of the relationship this Milanese duo developed with music from the outset and exactly what nurtures their unwavering sentiment towards these elements that move us so effortlessly. After all, it is nothing but true devotion that you could expect from anyone naming their project Eternal Love, one that is present in all of their endeavours, from the prolific partnerships with fellow countrymen from Burro Studio to their lovely edits of rare rhythmic nuggets to splendid mixes such as this one. The pulse throughout is constant without rendering it strenuous, thanks to the attention to detail that turns linearity into energy and a delicate sensibility attuned to the ebb and flow of what makes an enthralling narrative something absolutely mesmerising.

Seven tracks including a remix by The Hacker

Other Side is the first solo album of Michael Zodorozny, New York post-punk icon and founding member of Crash Course in Science. The side he shows on the album is a rougher and more personal one. 
The seven tracks, including a feisty remix by The Hacker, are dark and thrusting with an EBM and industrial feel. Home-made and self-invented instruments complete Michael's specific, extraordinary sound.
Other Side was produced by Matia Simovich aka INHALT. Michael himself painted and designed the cover artwork.

TL PREMIERE : Michael Zodorozny - To See Your Hands [Electronic Emergencies]

Dalmata Daniel presents the sixth instalment of their DDS split series, manifesting a relentless torrent of raw, bumping beats and electric thunderbolts: Kraków-based Olivia brings her otherworldly sequences and hazy reverberations, while hailing from Tel Aviv, Rapha delivers acidic treatments and sinister, menacing tones of a dark, untold future.

Side A opens up with ’Freak’, where Olivia’s swirling synth arpeggios quickly aim to enchant all listeners, tangling up their brainwaves with several layers of wicked, throbbing beats. Continuing her witching hour, ‘Odejdź’ introduces off-kilter pulses, cries and whispers in a dungeon, where no one can find the exit. Echoes tremble and screams get distorted in the dark, moist and uncanny aisles of these non-Euclidean spaces. Hyperbolic and demonic, hypnotic and manic: ‘Odejdź’ puts ashes in our eyes and takes us to places we never thought were possible in this bleak realm of our world.

Flip the record, drop the needle and let side B commence: Rapha opens up with ‘Aggressive Disorder’, a hip hop-infused marching beat with cosmic howls and blasting basslines. Next up, as a gargantuan machinery of steam-fueled engines, ‘Bomber Jacket’ takes a confident, industrial maneuver at demonstrating nasty, scattered pieces of percussive grit, simmering its way to a textured and refined amalgam of rough and frantic pulsations. Closing the split release, ‘Access Point’ elevates the voyage to outer space: fresh and squelchy electro patterns kick in right away with sweet, rumbling lower frequencies, and while you may enjoy the interstellar ride with stardust in your eyes, don’t forget to watch out for potential alien screams and growls behind you in the cabin; they should come as no surprise if DDS06 is the OST to your personal, gruesome, galactic adventure.

Sebastian Swarm is a Glasgow based DJ, musician, visual mutator and co-operator of Lunacy, a record label and warehouse party that operated out of an old sweetie factory. He holds residencies with Glasgow based radio station, Clyde Built Radio and Marseille station, Ola Radio with his show Dannsa Càball. 

Swarm has released music on a number of labels such as Land of Dance, Meta Moto, Apéritif de la Mort, Huntleys & Palmers and more recently a remix for post punk/psychedelic band, Abrasive Trees.

For his LAYER, Sebastian selected the funkiest of digs and nastiest of waves, mostly from the beloved last decades of the XX century.

OPTICAL ILLUSIONS MIX - 06/22/2019

24th Birdcast comes from one and only @SneakerDJ who has been on a mission to reveal the origins of electronic music for more than twenty years now. Whether as a producer or DJ – Sneaker is doing it properly but always after careful consideration. He loves music which imparts atmosphere and attitude towards life, even in a parodying way that doesn’t take it all or itself too serious. Early on, he fell in love with Detroit and Chicago but furthermore there are the obscure Italo, new wave and minimal synth gems that make his sets and Dunkeltier edits special and provide his productions with that edgy Sneaker flavour.

The selection in this session is closely bound to his project with @Scannoir. They released two records named ½GOTT and GOTT plus remixes and edits. Together they are performing as a DJ tag team playing extended sessions of old school EBM. That's the sound you can listen to here as well!

The session was recorded on the 26th of September 2019 at Yu-Yu in Mexico-City, Mexico during his 2nd PanAmerican tour.
