AXAXC – The Ashes of Eden: Author’s Commentary
When we began writing The Ashes of Eden, there was no rigid plan—just raw emotion and a desire to create something entirely different. Every song evolved organically, weaving together into a larger story. This album is about chaos, love, pain, and rebirth. It’s deeply personal, chaotic, and hauntingly beautiful.

Here’s the journey in detail:

1. The Ashes of Eden
This opening track is an anthem. Sharp violins and harp strings set a haunting tone before falling into a soft, ethereal calm led by female vocals. But the peace is shattered by rhythmic guitar chugs, creating a beautiful contrast between stillness and power. The female vocals are later replaced by deep death-metal growls, signaling the fall of paradise.

2. A Tear for a Penny: Part 1
Chaos unleashed. The fast tremolo picking and kickback drums create urgency, while screamo vocals give it raw intensity. Melodic orchestral breaks and battle-like rhythms raise your energy. The lyrics are dark, poetic, and unforgiving—a war cry wrapped in melody.

3. Velvet Chains: Part 1
A seductive and trance-like experience. This track is slow, heavy, and hypnotic. The bass burns like a cigarette pull-back, with haunting female vocals weaving through. There’s an intimate chemistry between the male and female vocals, creating a siren’s call atmosphere that draws you in deeper.

A rebirth. This track opens with orchestral strings and quickly shifts into pounding drums and heavy chugging. Male vocals dominate, creating a ceremonial tone. Violins and synths elevate the track, giving it an anthemic quality. Just as things settle into an ethereal calm, distorted scratching breaks it apart, leaving listeners in suspense—a perfect setup for what may come next.
