After three years and numerous club events, festival showcases, vernissages, and DJ workshops, we want to give something back: We are proud to officially share our first compilation with you. A compilation by FLINTA* Artists - as a tribute to the years of support we have received and as a sign of the visibility and also achievements of the community. We are pleased to announce that Layers will now also be a music label for FLINTA* producers and artists.

As a kickoff, a total of 11 artists will release nine tracks on our first compilation (LAY001). All proceeds generated by the compilation will be donated to GLADT - an independent self-organisation of black and colour of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter* and queer people who have teamed up to offer workshops, counselling and awareness raising in their respective fields.

Con un track original por parte de cada artista, el EP se completa con remixes de Gaston Fiore y CRRDR, dos voces clave de la electrónica sudamericana que reversionan con potencia y calor estos cortes europeos.

Body Bounce es un viaje sonoro cargado de colores, efusividad e intensidades variables, con una impronta latina que atraviesa todo el lanzamiento. Música directa al cuerpo, hecha para el movimiento, el sudor y la celebración.

Echo State - a stripped-back interlude built with more traditional sounds. These pieces often end up sitting on my hard drive, but I wanted to share this one as a single.

Echo State

La (ou le) tequila, ou téquila, est une eau-de-vie produite au Mexique exclusivement à partir d'une plante nommée Agave tequilana (contrairement au mezcal qui peut être produit à partir d'autres espèces d'Agave).

Pour obtenir l'appellation « tequila », la production doit avoir lieu dans l'État de Jalisco et quelques municipalités des États de Nayarit, Michoacán, Guanajuato et Tamaulipas.

Bien que ce disque soit produit en France, il porte néanmoins l'appellation 'téquila'.
