C'est du côté de la Bretagne que l'on se tourne ce mois-ci pour retrouver un duo que l'on adore et que l'on suit de près depuis plus de deux ans, nos amies les Valise ❤️

Duo de dj/productrices rennaises, Valise invite à découvrir des sonorités aux multiples nuances ; que ce soit par des rythmes tribaux jusqu’aux tréfonds de la progressive, en passant par des vibes électro et des notes acid et trance.

L’énergie qu’elles puisent aussi bien l’une de l’autre que dans la connexion avec le public se transmet alors dans une effervescence intense et généreuse, que ce soit sur les pistes du Macadam, lors des festivals Astropolis, Dox’Art ou encore Madame Loyale. 

Derrière les platines ou lors d’épopées vagabondes en Asie, les deux acolytes de toujours jouent de leur complémentarité. Leurs dernières productions sorties en self release ou sur des labels comme Dôme Astropolis ou Tête Vide révèlent leur univers surprenant aux mille facettes.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Olympe4000. "Con La Mujer" comes off the new EP, MUTANTE, forthcoming on Dischi Autunno. This EP is built for the club but carries a deeper resonance. Released on Jen Cardini’s DISCHI, it moves between raw techno, sharp percussion, and shifting synth textures, reflecting the fluid nature of identity, attraction, and self-perception. At the core of the project is Anaco, Olympe’s Franco-Spanish friend, whose voice messages became the foundation for the tracks. Their words touch on bisexuality, the tension between visibility and erasure, and the contradictions of self-definition in a world that imposes rigid categories. These ideas are embedded in the music, not just in the lyrics, but in the
structure, contrast, and energy of each track.

Paris-based imprint Contrepoint have steadily established itself as a home for producers unafraid to hybridise club dynamics with deeper, more experimental leanings...Sanpe’s remix, commands the floor like an astral conductor. Kicking off with bubbling synth lines and a pressure-cooked groove, the track submerges listeners into a deep dive. The kicks thump with purpose, wrapped in a fog of spectral pads and submerged FX. As it evolves the track mutates into a paradox of dancefloor ecstasy and subconscious drift,  both propulsive and meditative.

Au programme : grondements sombres, mélodies entêtantes et rythmes effrénés. 

C’est également la seconde partie de la série “Métabolisme”, processus biologique se déroulant en deux temps : l’anabolisme (les réactions de synthèse) et le catabolisme (la dégradation moléculaire). 
Les deux mixes éponymes, composés de sonorités organiques profondes, sont ainsi les échos des réactions chimiques qui se produisent dans les organismes vivants.
