Teaser taken from SUB SIGNALS Vol.2, a deep dive into underground bass, guided by artist and producer Gaudi. Featuring predominantly unreleased originals and versions by some of the biggest names in the worldwide dub collective, Sub Signals Vol.2 intricately combines analogue elements with digital grooves to stunning effect. 
Much more than just a compilation, the Sub Signals series is a celebration of the evolution of the sound of dub, from its original roots in reggae to its fusion with a much wider spectrum of sounds and influences. Gaudi curated the first volume back in 2006 for the cult Canadian label Interchill, sourcing tracks and dubs from High Tone, Zion Train, Manasseh, Almamegretta, Noiseshaper, Creation Rebel, Greg Hunter, Bill Laswellís Dubadelic and more.
15 years on, Gaudi has created the second volume, blending contributions by established reggae names Steel Pulse, Dennis Bovell and African Head Charge with next generation dub producers Alpha Steppa, Radikal Guru and Paolo Baldini Dubfiles, headline acts Groove Armada, Dub FX and The Orb with underground artists Deadbeat, Pitch Black and SUBSET, to create a seamless 75 minute mix.
As a solo artist, Gaudi has recorded over 20 albums, while as a producer he has hundreds of productions under his belt. He has worked with legends of the reggae and electronic music worlds including Lee "Scratch" Perry, Horace Andy, Dub Pistols, Hollie Cook, Youth, Mad Professor, Prince Fatty, Lamb, Trentemoller, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sizzla, Capleton, Barrington Levy, Simple Minds and more.
Dedicated to the sound of dub in its many forms, Gaudi's latest excursion of his Sub Signals series is pure bass therapy, designed to excite your eardrums and worry your woofers.

The much anticipated collaborative studio project between these two true music innovators DEEP FOREST & GAUDI, has gloriously resulted in the release of ‘Epic Circuits’, their – two years in the making – brand new album due for release in June 2018 on vinyl LP, CD, DDL.
Their individual careers have spanned the last three decades, both pioneering the world-music scene back in the 90s and they still continue to relentlessly deliver distinctive "genre-bending” innovative sounds. Now Grammy Award winner Deep Forest and renowned electronica-dub producer/musician Gaudi have composed a beautifully-crafted cinematic album, using analogue and modular synthesizers as an “electronic platform” on which to place their other instruments of choice, from the grand piano to the theremin. This album combines Deep Forest’s blissful melodies with Gaudi’s extraordinaire dub production techniques
To put it simply, these guys know how to deliver top quality music, scoring the highest sound production-standard in every release they do. In their years of celebrated careers they both amassed a stunning collection of originals, albums, remixes and chart positions worldwide. After meeting each other on tour in India five years ago, they’ve decided to embark in this music-adventure together, starting with the production of new songs and remixes for each other, followed by touring in Australia, England and New Zealand which naturally brought new music inspirations to the pair, resulting in the creation of the new album ‘Epic Circuits’.

DEEP FOREST & GAUDI   'Epic Circuits'  (Album Teaser)

This album, as the title would suggest, is two (wall breaking and out there) artists/producers coming together - Youth: highly respected music producer, sonic pioneer and founder & bassist of Killing Joke and Gaudi: international dance floor rocker and maverick producer of note. Two bass leviathans duelling their way through sci-fi, psychedelic dub space ....and the resulting album is truly a lesson in synergy.

Astronaut Alchemists was made the purists way; the album was recorded over two years, each session was done together in the studio, face to bass, heating the metal of inspiration and pouring and shaping it as it flowed. As Gaudi said of the recording process, “something organically surfaced since the beginning of our studio sessions: the chemistry. Chemistry is vital when you work in the studio with another artist, it’s that magic thing that you can’t really study”. It’s amazing, with the schedule that they both keep, that it only took 2 years to coordinate the required studio sessions! The album features Youth on bass, Gaudi on Keyboards and they are both responsible for programming and production. The album was engineered and mastered by Jamie Grashion (AKA Cosmic Trigger) and will be released by Liquid Sound Design.

Astronaut Alchemists is true to its name ...an alchemical showcase of spacious dimensions, a masterclass in weaving it up right and keeping it tight...signatures and sounds from both artists, transmuted by each other into something new and of absolute and unhackneyed grooviness.
This album is of the future but definitely not a stranger.

This brand new dub-excursion digs deep and deeper into the intricate realms of the underground before resurfacing with plenty of yet undiscovered precious gems! Many are the unreleased tracks and remixes appearing in this superb 75min sonic journey, including new material from yet semi-unknown producers, to the more established ones and also from Gaudi himself, such as: the featuring on the collaborative track with KRYPTIC MINDS and ERALDO BERNOCCHI (as ROTOR), the brand new dub mix of Gaudi’s song ‘Subtle Obscurity’ from his 2013 album ‘In Between Times’ (Six Degrees Records), the deeply mysterious mashup-Gaudi remix of  “dub-fellas” ALMAMEGRETTA and UPWELLING, the ambient version of ’30Hz Dub Prelude’ from G’s latest solo album ‘Magnetic’ on Rarenoise Records and more surprises to be discovered. 
This new excursion is deep, refined, it’s dark and in moments also goth, the JAH DIVISION dub re-interpretation of ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ says it all, so does it DAYZERO with his ‘Down By Low’ and HEBBE with his ‘B Side Dub’.
Gaudi’s collaborator and fella producer GROUCH is also present here with a dubby/stompy number, alongside with legendary psy-chill pioneers SAAFI BROTHERS remixed by dub specialist VLASTUR (out on Liquid Sound Design) and followed by italian dub wizard Paolo Baldini DUFILES with his MELLOW MOOD ensamble, then MALA, DUBPHONIC, KOSHI, HIERONIMUS, SEPPA, VOODOO TAPES, OPUS, HEMISPHERE DUB and more.
