 Nepali rock 
This is a “Nepali Rock Song " composed by me long time ago, when I was in the final year of Engineering @China. Keeping in mind the fact that, I didn’t have a band: I completed this song "Mero Yo Jutta Le" single-handedly. I had to start alone which turned out to be awe-inspiring experience for me; I started enjoying it that way. I started browsing the internet to Know more about musical instruments, mixing (I only had idea about Guitar; I did all the melody and rhythms from it) and found Fl studio. I could add Drums, Bass and vocals thus I got a clear picture of this song and how it would look like, but trust me, little knowledge is dangerous; back then recording was as bad as hell, nonetheless, I gained a good knowledge of mixing. 

After graduation when I came back to Nepal , I got an opportunity to Record music in a studio ;with the help of  awesome people @Seed Media I recorded my First  composition: Ma Ekchoti haina (If you want to check it out click the links below). They helped me with everything they possibly could esp. solo part (Done by Prashanna Bhandari) and Binod lama Bro!

Nepali Folk Song | Ghumna Jam na KANCHI | Gaurab Rijal
Time for the folk music: I love this song because whenever this composition strikes my mind my heart feels elated: mood goes up ultimately bringing smile to my face.
The term folk music was originated in the 19th century but folk is often applied to music that is older than that.
Folk music brings smell of mud of one’s place and is genuine root of culture. “ Ghumna jam na kanchi”  is a Nepali folk song composed by me and my friend Sangam karki when we were at NUAA (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics). 

Composition of this song got off at my apartment in China when we Nepali gathered to have a party.  Lyrics started to flow in our mind like river and we just were floating in jubilant mood.  Funny part with this composition is, we used the “Hindi” part just to mock and to add fun to the composition but when I sang this song it somehow became serious. Trust me I didn’t want it to be. In addition to that, Introducing madal to this track would sound great but couldn’t add this time. I promise in my next folk composition I will replace drums with Madal.
Folk never fades away its always reflects the root of every composition and is heart of every melody. We love and respect our native music: Nepali music. I have another folk composition ready: “Kanchi “. Time will soon bring you, me and “kanchi” near.  
I didn’t add any rap or modern taste just to leave this song pure. Hope you had fun.

I am an Aeronautical Engineer with an eclectic taste in music, my  composition has its own freedom.   I love to improvise  music of every genre: from Folk to Heavy Metal ; even tried to mix them to make it sound unorthodox .Creating music gives ineffable joy to me; its  like giving birth to new soul and my songs are like my children. I have composed songs of every genre and have introduced a new concept in some of my tracks.
