I produced this record specifically to play at the Shrine in LA in early 2020 (which turned out to be a few weeks before the world shut down). It was written as a tongue in cheek story partly inspired by my first car, an old Camry that collects dust in Melbourne while I’m away on tour. I wasn’t sure what to do with the record when dance floors paused around the world. But I’ve received requests for it every other day since. All things considered, I figured it’s probably time to get it out there into the world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed giving it a rev on the dance floor.

We all make art for ourselves sometimes. This project was originally not meant to be released, as it was something that was born in very heavy and sad times. After showing it to close friends though, every person that got to hear it was obsessed with it.

The ultimate proof to it being something special was, when it got played in front of a huge crowd only once and everyone started to be emotional and remembered that very exact moment in the night. 
A clip of it being played went viral and all the Djs were asking for it.
It is without a doubt one of the saddest songs in the world and the remix & video wants to go hand in hand with that.

After sharing multiple intense Remixes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, it was time to show another side of the YLAI project, that will unfold in multiple ways.

YLAI, a multi-platinum ghost producer with over a decade of experience, is finally sharing another of his exclusive "DJ goodies" with the world. Known for producing hits in almost every genre of EDM and beyond, he always tries to capture the feeling of a song, no matter what genre it is.
