زُلف بے وجہ کھُلی
خواب دکھلا کے مجھے
نیند کس سمت چلی
خُوشبو لہرائی، مرے کان میں سرگوشی کی
اپنی شرمیلی ہنسی میں نے سُنی

Endowed with a rich and mellifluous voice, a discerning observation and a vivacious imagination, Gaurav has developed a distinctive style which evokes shades of the traditional, infused with a charming freshness and intensity. His eloquent renditions have received numerous accolades, and have regularly featured over television and radio.

Gaurav has also performed and traveled with ghazal maestros such as Ahmed & Mohammed Hussain and Ghulam Ali and had the opportunity to imbibe the nuances of their style and preference for poetry.

Gaurav’s singing portrays an exquisite effusion of feelings with an alluring lilt. Variegated hues of imagery are conjured as soulful romanticism blends with genial sprightliness.
