The track "Technomad Communitas" seeks to convey the especially carnivalesque character of experience on dance floors and outdoor festivals. It is influenced by the retro sounds of 1980s New Wave, which trigger collective memories of "coming out" to the EDM dance floor. The track conveys the chaos and determination, and the revolutionary, infectuous and irresistible build up of comm-uni-tas.

Gavana Feat Gunilla Grundström-Hård & Hårig

Gavana has been making music since 2004 and released five EPs on the Swedish label Meerkat Recordings. Gavana's fifth and fourth EPa, Greek Dub and Greek Acid follows up on her previous EPs Malaga Nights, Culture Vulture and Vicious Vibrations.Over the years, Gavanas' music has been played by Swedish National Radio’s "P3 med Samir" and  ”Elektroniskt i P2”. The track El Andaluz from Malaga Nights became a hit in Colombia (!) and the EP was listed as ”hot pick” by Sattelite Records in New York. 

Gavana has also remixed other artists (Donna Maya, Carosnatch and Rona Geffen) and released music as part of the duos Pufferfisk and Bass Trolls.

As a producer, Gavanas comes from  a non-stop DJ mission since the 1990s: immersed in endless musical explorations forwards, backwards and sideways. Having lived through numerous phases, club cultures and cities -- in Stockholm, New York, Amsterdam, Chicago, Leeds and London -- she combines a broad range of styles between garage/ house/ techno as well as UK steppers dub and dancehall.
