God I LOVE this! Reminds me of "ME VS YOU" but more hiphop.

It's been months and I could still listen to this track on loop for hours.

This was a submission for the Samples From Mars Kawaii Dreams competition. All non-percussion samples are from the Kawaii Dreams instrument/sample pack. I lost.

I really liked this song by Duumu & ÊMIA and when I saw ÊMIA posted a stripped version of it, I was amazed of how well she can sing and play live, it's incredible.
After hearing this version I decided to take it into my daw and started making something on top of it - this turned out to be one of the fastest and most fun sessions I've had since I finished it in 1 day after about 9 hours of creating this remix.

I first heard this song while browsing YouTube for The Tallest Man On Earth videos (I was just discovering him) - I happened upon his KEXP performance of this beautiful, magical song and I knew instantly I wanted to cover it. I spent hours attempting to decipher his fingerpicking code but eventually came to accept my 50% interpretation. I love everything about this song - the lyrics, the chords, the melody...they are striking and romantic and devastating.

A track from a lost album...

Around 2016/17 I made an album with my friends Chris James (Stateless, Run Rivers) and Jim Abbiss (Bjork, DJ Shadow) as the group Tojin Kit. Unfortunately the project got lost between record labels, stuck on the shelf, half released and ultimately disappeared into music industry limbo. It happens. So I thought it would be cool to finally make it available to anyone that might be interested via my bandcamp page, hope you enjoy it!
