Why do we name diseases the way we do? After the WHO released new guidelines on how to name diseases (any names after places, peoples, and foods are not OK), I went exploring into how and why diseases have been given the names they have—and what names experts think they should have. This aired on former national CBC Radio show ‘The 180’ in June 2018.

The LGBTQ-related tracks are all segments from a radio documentary series I produced that explored the experiences of LGBTQ people of colour in Vancouver. This series aired on Vancouver’s most-listened-to radio show in the morning, CBC’s The Early Edition.
