Take Your Place in This World

Johnny Marr is set to mark this year’s Record Store Day with a numbered limited edition 7” release of his interpretation of Depeche Mode’s 1993 classic ‘I Feel You’. Marr played the track live during the closing shows of last December’s North American tour. The single’s b-side is a live version of The Smiths’ ‘Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want’.

Gavin's debut album "45 RPM (Replay Past Memories)"  was RTE Radio 1 "Album of the Week"  in June 2020.
The four singles were "Record of the Week" and "Album of the Week on Ocean FM.

Living on Ireland’s north west coast, GAVIN MURPHY originally hails from Dublin’s North Side. Gavin arranged, produced and recorded the album in his home studio in Sligo.

Gavin’s eldest son, Daragh, an accomplished musician and producer in his own right, also features on the album. He co-produced three tracks and plays on a number of the songs.
