Project Koko began in 1972 at the San Francisco Zoo when  Francine (Penny) Patterson undertook the first-ever project to study the linguistic capabilities of gorillas. Koko was the first gorilla to be part of this research. Her names is short for "Hanabiko" which means "Fireworks Child" in Japanese.

Previously Unreleased. The title  "Headshopping" seems dated now. At the time a man would kneel and pray aloud outside headshops in Galway but that was the old Ireland when gay people  couldn't even get married. 
It's a rejiggered beat from a live set when,oddly enough, I played at a WFMU hip hop slam as a duo with Anne-Marie Deasy in Bell Book and Candle​.
