This was the kickoff to a very special wknd to celebrate the closing of the BSC 23 winter season which hosted artists from all over the world including: Feathered Sun, Parallelle, Valentin Huedo, Gavlak, Illich Mujica, Golden, Chris Cauldron and many more.

Burning Man is a strange place and set in one of the most harsh environments to life on Earth. The playa remains mostly sterile throughout this time of the year. Despite this hostile environment we play in, we somehow thrive. It is truly one of the most unique cities in the world. 

Disorient is known for hosting legendary events in NYC and also brings one of the most powerful and expertly tuned sound systems on playa. This year located at a prime spot at 2:45 & Esplanade. This was an incredible backdrop to the vast space of open playa. It is always an honor and a privilege to perform with such a talented group of artists, engineers, and curators of this little corner of Black Rock City.

We're excited to welcome the multi-talented Turkish native and longtime Bespoke Musik Resident Carlita back to our little radio show for an hour-long journey through her world-beloved soundscapes.

Carlita is a Turkish DJ and producer from Istanbul. A classical musician and multi-instrumentalist (drums, cello, bass, and electric guitar) Carlita experiments with a mix of live and electronic instruments in her productions, using different synths and samples from her different instruments and field recordings from her travels. With early influences ranging from Turkish Psychedelia to Rock ’n’ Roll, she combines an ever-changing kaleidoscope of sounds and cultures into a driving electronic beat. Her diverse musical background ensures her sets are always full of surprises, as she expertly crafts a musical journey with each performance and develops her signature eclectic, worldly sound.
