Raver, electrical engineer, and modular wunderkind Lubelski has today released his debut album, ‘Universal Groove’ on the Percomaniacs imprint. The nine track album represents a new chapter for Lubelski, one marked by a deeper understanding of sonic exploration far beyond his years. 

Spawned from years locked away in dimly lit studios with friends and collaborators, ‘Universal Groove’ represents a sense of dancefloor unification and the rhythmic love of underground scenes past and present. It's a feeling, a coming together under one roof to celebrate, escape, and learn from those that paved the way for our global community of dancers. This is for the love of it all. 

In Lubelski’s own words, “The Universal Groove, to me, is about love. The beat is indifferent to you so we have to care about each other. We all come together under this roof of rhythms to lift each other up and find an escape from the mundanity of daily life. This album culminates in love and all its shades and colors, whether it’s about falling in love, having love for each other, or showing self love. We are all unified by the universal groove of house music.”

The album comes strong with collaborations from fellow souls of the underground close to Lubelski’s heart like vocalists Kaleena Zanders, MOONz, Rodney, and Jackson Englund, plus producers Durante, RYBO, Wyatt Marshall, Morpei, and Musahi. Lubelski’s own vocal stylings can also be heard on tunes like ‘Can’t Rewind’ and ‘Crashing Down’ - a further development of truly being a musical jack of all trades.

This love swept mantra is fitting for a producer who has seen such deep support from a wide group of collectives and artists around the world. The last few years have seen Lubelski championed by the likes of Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird, Audiojack’s Gruuv, the Desert Hearts Crew, and many others - all of whom revere him as a member of the next generation of tech-minded, studio devotees.

Gawdat is a duo that turns venues upside down - a name associated with unrestrained, feelgood vibes and a live performance unmatched on a regional level. The Cairo-based duo are heavily influenced by 90’s R&B culture, classic soul, and jazzy basslines, which form the basis of their signature sound and groove-laden mixing style.
 
Having infiltrated the scene across the country early on, the duo is considered one of Egypt’s elite imprints, having played nearly every major event within the borders since 2013. The brothers proved to be a unique embodiment of equal parts energy and technical capability. This led them to being called upon for international performances since 2015, a pivotal point in their young careers.
 
Gawdat have played alongside some of the industry’s heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Luciano, Loco Dice and Bedouin to name a few.
 
2024 has certainly been a career-affirming year that has seen them perform at esteemed festivals including Burning Man, Sunwaves, Paradise w/Jamie Jones, a sold out show in New York, two sold out London shows, as well as sets on lineups with DJ Tennis, Carlita, The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler and many more.
 
On the production front, they launched their record label called "DancIN' Music Records" that has been making waves locally and regionally. they released 5 tracks that are new unique music as they continue to amplify their profile on a global scale. Off the back of their best year yet, It’s fair to say Gawdat are just getting started…
