This quote describes the Norwegian musician, guitarist and composer.

Westby seems to have his roots in the bluesmusic, but that is a statement to which he would like to add;”I have played everything he says, in order to become a great guitarist, everyone I admired for their guitarplaying skills. I relate more to a feeling, to a way to convey the music.
”A quote made by a fan, supports this statement;
”Man, you don`t just play the guitar, you talk to it…and it answers”.
Now, Westby is recording some of the songs he has written, playing all of the instruments himself. He is hoping someone will see the possibilities in both the songs, and in himself as a musician.
Then he will finally have the opportunity to be a full-time musician.
At present, Westby is participating in the International songwriting competition, where he is a proud winner of ISC crank your cred 2011, and a finalist in the blues category.
