Sofa Beats Series continues w/ Portugal duo ZEN RACOON by the artists also known as Zen Baboon.

Zen Racoon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the 70`s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction. Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s. Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, ( ̈DJ Henriq ̈) and producer in 2001. They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Racoon.

EkaOlogik is a live duet composed of Patrick ABOS and Yoanna NICOLA. Coming from a trip hop training, the two artists today create a psybient down tempo sound universe, a subtle blend of their shoegaze, trance, dub, post rock and new age influences. Their live, hypnotic and aerial, takes you into an enchanted universe, where progressive rhythms dance with fine melodies, enveloped by often saturated tablecloths. The project was born in 2009 and played its first live at the Ambiosonic Ambient Festival. It is at this moment a live pure machine, hardware. (MC 909) Then in 2013, the “ekaO” begin to take an interest in the MAO production technique, composing always ambient songs. From 2015, the creations intensify culminating in 2016 on a psybient live set, in 2017 an album (Light Seeds) then (Perseida) in 2018. Since the beginning ekaOlogik has performed on different stages and festivals (Ambiosonic Festival , Hadra Trance festival, Harmonic Festival, Eclectic, Equinox, Magic Castle, The psychedelic box, Transubtil work in progress …). They appear in compilations: Hadracadabra 5, Turlitava 2 and Chiling Dragon Tales Albums: Light Seeds (2017 – Hadra Altervision Records), Perseida (2018 – Hadra Altervision Records).

🔱  Osman GayaTree is rocking since 2001. It’s started from his first vinyl parties in UK with a group of friends. By now he has played hundreds of mixes, passed the evolution of CD and digital formats and acquired fans in more than 50 countries worldwide. Tre spectrum of his music styles runs from house and trance to psy chill and downtempo but his performance is far out of the genre limits. The feature of his music is it’s healing and informative influence. His name is quite common for the biggest open air festivals like Burning Man or Boom and for the very top night clubs of the world’s capitals. But Osman’s main specialty are his legendary private party sessions that are giving him the closest connection with the public. GayaTree participates in Sitaram Vision Tribe and Galactic Confederation, GoodFellas and Double G project, and cooperates with Blue Hour Sound (Italy) и Aclahayr Record Label (Japan). He is permanently travelling the world from North America till the islands of Indonesia and marks it with hundreds of altered lifes through the hypnotic sounds of his transcendent music.
Psychedelics did open my mind. I want to show how beautiful we all are through the magical music and mystical vibes of psychedelic trance and ambient sound. Light and love is what we are
