Foley Sounds: Countryside [68 FREE Foley Samples]

I really wanted to make something fresh and futuristic for my DJ sets that would take the familiar Don Diablo sound to the next level. Once I finished the basic foundation of the song things started to fall in place and I got a brain wave. I have always been looking for a way to implement Fatboy Slim's "Right Here Right Now" sample into my sets because those four words are so simple but also extremely powerful at the same time. When I tested it out for the first time the reactions blew my mind so I decided to make it my next release straight away!

A preview of some of the material I am working with for my composition portion of my thesis. I am exploring different ways to perform with a computer, and different approaches to composing with performance in mind. All of the sounds in this piece were generated from recordings of rehearsals of mvt. 1, utilizing only electric bass and sine waves.

If you think this is somewhat reminiscent of a certain classic side-scrolling shooter for the Amiga the similarities are a hundred percent intentional. Just my way of saying "thanks, love your stuff". ;)
