Murus Strictus is a hard-hitting EBM release by the French duo GBxCL.

The EP features three tracks, beginning with “Belt of Constraint”, an intense bassline-driven track with vocals that sets the tone for the rest of the release. “Tepes” takes things up a notch with its relentless beat and detuned lead synths. The EP closes with “Fork of the Heretic” including pounding rhythms and dark vocals.

GBxCL delivers a powerful and immersive experience that is both danceable and unsettling.

GBxCL is an EBM/Techno music duo hailing from the french city of Bayonne. The duo consists of Geoff Blank and Chute Libre, who share a passion for electronic music and a desire to create dark and powerful tracks.

Their creations are heavily influenced by the EBM genre, the punk and post-punk movements, which make their music characterised by intense beats, dark vocals, and industrial soundscape.

Since forming in 2018, GBxCL has released several singles and EPs on a variety of record labels including BUNK3R R3CORDS, KHOINIX, SHISHI RECORDS and STILL DISTANT RECORDS.
