After a decade long absence, G-COMPANY (Gee Grewal) returns with his new song ‘Jatt Diyan Boliyan’, featuring the vocal talents of 5 Panjabi singers – Bakshi Billa, Meet Malkit, Balwinder Matewaria, Anantpal Billa & Jassi Bai.

A straight up. hard hitting, Panjabi Bhangra song which combines UK Bhangra production techniques with Panjabi Folk melodies and lyrics. Strictly for the Bhangra-Heads and Desi-Heads!

As was the case with his debut album Folklore, this release is a very personal project for G-COMPANY for which he has envisaged, produced and delivered the entire project, and created a song for a niche group of Bhangra and Panjabi music fans, with similar musical tastes as his own.

Created in 2001 and released in 2025, ‘Unfaithful Heer’ is a Garage remix of a Punjabi Folk classic by Southampton based Bhangra and Punjabi music producer G-COMPANY (Gee Grewal).

The original ‘Daka Pe Gaya Sikhar Duphere’ is from the 1981 album 'Teeyan Longowal Diyan' by the late great Surinder Shinda, original music by the genius maestro Charanjit Ahuja and lyrics by the legendary Hardev Dilgir (Dev Tharike Wala).

Whilst by no means is this recreation trying to improve on the original, but rather an attempt to bring back an underrated classic by a legendary singer and one of the greatest Punjabi artists of all time - Surinder Shinda!
