"Lantern Skies" is probably one of the most soulful Afro-pop fusion tracks breathing global unity and cultural exchange. Set against the vivacious night festival background, this music interweaves richly layered African percussion with warm melodies from various world traditions. Finally, gentle, marimba-like synth lines and acoustic textures come together with uplifting vocal harmonies to create an atmosphere of community celebration. The words depict strangers turned friends, hearts in alignment under lantern-lit skies, painting yet another sonic picture of a world dancing to the rhythm where one language unites all humanity, crossing borders. This is the principal soundcloud channel for original one-man music by gd&themultitracks.  Mainly instrumental, the music was home-recorded in stroud, england using hardware synths & instruments and Audacity community software for editing and mixing the individual multitracks.  I've had great enjoyment in making (& listening to!) the music, but any plays or feedback would be much appreciated. 
The music spans a wide range of sounds & genre.  I've put a selection of tracks into playlists which cover much of the music:  rock, melodic rock, soft guitar, ambient, electronica, soundtrack, jazz & blues..
