Story:
In the heart of Kanraiji Metropolis, where shadows danced in the alleys and whispers lingered in the air, a new terror lurked. The Dreadbringer, once the scourge of the city, had been vanquished by the courageous efforts of its people. But now, from the depths of darkness, arose an even greater menace—the Death Whisperer.

It began with whispers, soft and insidious, echoing through the streets like a chilling breeze. At first, the citizens paid them little heed, dismissing them as the imaginings of an overactive mind. But soon, those whispers turned into screams of agony as the Death Whisperer claimed its first victims.

No one knew from whence it came or what dark powers it wielded, only that its presence brought death and despair. Its form was a mere shadow, flickering in the corners of vision, elusive and ever-moving. Those who glimpsed it described eyes that glowed with malevolence, and a voice that dripped with venom.

The city's protectors rallied once more, determined to confront this new threat before it could claim more innocent lives. But the Death Whisperer proved to be a formidable adversary, striking swiftly and without mercy. Each night, the death toll rose, leaving behind a trail of fear and despair.

In the midst of the chaos, whispers spread like wildfire, tales of a lone figure who dared to challenge the Death Whisperer. They spoke of a mysterious warrior clad in darkness, wielding a blade forged from the souls of the fallen. Some dismissed these stories as mere myth, while others clung to them as a beacon of hope in the encroaching darkness.

As the city teetered on the brink of despair, the mysterious warrior emerged from the shadows, their presence a flicker of light in the enveloping darkness. With each encounter, they grew stronger, their resolve unyielding in the face of the Death Whisperer's terror.

Finally, in a climactic battle that shook the very foundations of Kanraiji Metropolis, the warrior confronted the Death Whisperer in a clash of steel and shadow. The air crackled with tension as they fought with all the strength and fury of those who dared to defy the darkness.

In the end, it was not brute force that defeated the Death Whisperer, but a flicker of humanity buried deep within its malevolent heart. As the first rays of dawn broke across the horizon, the Death Whisperer dissipated into nothingness, leaving behind only whispers carried away on the wind.

And so, the people of Kanraiji Metropolis emerged from the darkness, scarred but unbroken, their spirits tempered by the trials they had endured. Though the memory of the Death Whisperer would linger like a shadow in their minds, they knew that as long as they stood together, they would always find the strength to face whatever darkness may come.

This is the principal soundcloud channel for original one-man music by gd&themultitracks.  Mainly instrumental, the music was home-recorded in stroud, england using hardware synths & instruments and Audacity community software for editing and mixing the individual multitracks.  I've had great enjoyment in making (& listening to!) the music, but any plays or feedback would be much appreciated.
