When I got the demo for Vivre Sans Toi, I was very intrigued by the raw emotion and clash of styles. While it's definitely something different, I feel it still feels vibes hard with The Funky Cat!

It were the very last lines of the track that really grabbed my attention. Suddenly, the lyrics switched from English to French - and I'm just a sucker for that. It brought a lot of colour to the track, and the harmonies there felt so emotive for me... So much, that I was inspired to take that bit and build a whole remix out of it.

At that moment, I was listening to a lot of music from around the year 2000, particularly italo dance and even more particularly Gigi d'Agostino. That man has a wild discography, check it out. Anyways - if you're familiar with his music, you'll definitely hear a strong influence in my remix! I've listened to it a thousand times by now, and I hope you'll enjoy it as well.
