Lothlorien - Faith over Reason

One of our few acoustic outings. I don't think we ever gigged this one; if we did, I apologise. It's not exactly a get up and dance kind of song :) Written by Fal and Huw, 12 string acoustic guitars by Fal ...Maybe I should have taken my time and played the intro in a little less frantic a manner. It sounds very rushed!

Lothlorien - All is Lost

Another barrel-of-laughs acoustic song by Fal and Huw, again with Fal on acoustic guitar. A very rare outing for Fal on vocals on this one; a sort of dual vocal/harmony effort with Huw. I think this was recorded at the end of a session, with time running out. It kind of sounds like it was, as there's a fair few dodgy vocal bits in it! Written about some conflict that was in the news back then. I forget which one now, but they still ring true for today's conflicts, sadly. I don't think we ever gigged this one. I hope not!

One of my personal favourites from the Lothlorien back catalogue. I especially loved Arfer's over-use of a phaser on his guitar bits. Top stuff!

Couple of live songs from a gig we did in Lechlade in 1991. The bass on both songs is far too loud, but I'm not complaining because I was the bass player :) Unfortunately Arfer's guitar sounds like a bee trapped in a sock. Mr.Cloppy makes an appearance on Timebomb :)
