The story behind this remix is wild!

We had lunch at a spot on 8th & Ocean (S. Beach Miami) and randomly sat next to Kool & The Gang! They were in town for a show during Miami Music Week and we had just finished a demo drop at Mango's with Bijou & Hugel that morning.

We all got to talking about music and brought up remixing their "Get Down On It" track into a NuDisco remix, so here it is!

OK so I’ve finally gone and done my own version of Murder on the Dancefloor… and I’m only a couple of years late to the party! Honestly, this one’s a bit of a cheap shot, and I only did it because I was extracting the stems for another, hopefully more to my taste acid version that I’m working on but yet to finish. So I haven’t done a load to it - just extended it and added a DJ-friendly intro and outro, slightly boosted the kick and fannied around with the order/ stems a bit. It’s not my finest work, but given Sophie’s enduring popularity I wouldn’t be surprised if this one did quite well. Anyway, please grab it and do with it what you will!
