As someone who does prefer the Futanari version of almost all female characters in porn, I think the main reason she's so popular as a futa is probably that her robe is so concealing. There's no tight pants saying "no she couldn't be hiding a massive dong under there." Other than that, I'd guess it's because of her proportions. There is a lot of Futanari content with similar body sizes; strong tall milfs with a penis who will top you. About the Asari being Futas, it's because they are all one gender. You get the same thing with other monogender groups, like Amazons. Reminder, Futanari are a fantasy gender with both a penis, two external testes, a vagina, and two ovaries. I remember Mari was wondering if it was some derogatory term for trans people, but I don't believe that's the case, even though some artists will mislabel trans characters as futas or put all of those things under the futanari category/tag. I like a penis on my ladies either way.
