Due to a combination of illness and frigid weather, Jord and Cait were not able to meet in person this week, so they put the actual Geekdown100 on hold, which is really the most Geekdown thing they could have done. Instead, we give you a standard in-format ep, kicking off hashtag-comf-season with the BBC's adaptation of the Father Brown Mysteries by GK Chesterton, and Amazon's dramatic comedy 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,' fresh from its anointing at this week's Golden Globes.

Also loads of chit chat, updates on what we've been watching and playing, and a long overdue implementation of a policy regarding dick towels.

Episode 99 3/8: Re-chain of Sleep Birth -- Prelude Remix

The janky age is over! The mixer is here and with it the 'morning zoo' radio feel Jordan's been aching for.

Getting historical on the show this week as we look at '24 Hour Party People,' the story of Factory Records and the Madchester music scene, and 'Showa Ginroku Rakugo Shinju,' the celebrated anime drama set set in the world of Japanese comedic storytelling.
