Elements 2024:Corporate Wooks Mix

I wrote this song's bass using virtual riot riddim sounds from a pack on splice that I chopped up and rearranged. Here is a link to that sample pack!

I usually do my own bass sound design these days, but this song I made from premade super-lit virtual riot sounds. All of the bass samples I used in this song are no more than one hits or parts cut out of a phrase (I couldn't be that savage). Why would I do this? Well, it was when I was on a hiatus so I didn't care, and it was SO FUN :)  I had also recently found out how common it was to do so. Writing this one actually helped me with my own sound design and mixing a ton because of how top-heavy the frequencies are. I tend to get overstimulated by higher-frequency sounds, but I learned to keep my focus on the arrangement and quality with the notion less is more. 

So many people use samples in their writing, so don't make it harder for yourself than it needs to be ❤️ make your own samples and save them, then you can do the same concept with your own sounds too. And don't be scared to respectfully (and legally/ethically) utilize samples in your tracks! 

And because this a free download and because of how I wrote it, I figured AI art would be the most appropriate 😅
