A song I wrote most of while staying with my friend George on Cape Cod. Chiptune with post-rock influences I guess? It's just sort of a thing, which is why it lacks a legit name. I'm definitely not 100% happy with it (how do you write endings to things??)  and it's not been mastered properly, but it's been sitting on my hard drive for weeks, so I may as well upload it, eh?

"Finally got a somewhat acceptable recording of this song. I’d like to improve this a lot, using a real program rather than just a midi synthesizer and a keyboard to fix some mistakes and hesitations as well as dynamic issues. It’s called ‘Frostbite’ - it’s a remix of mainly Frost by Solatrus (http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/frost), with a lot of Doctor by George Buzinkai, Michael Vallejo, and Plazmataz (http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/doctor) and a little bit from Umbral Ultimatum by Radiation, taking snippets from a ton of people (http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/umbral-ultimatum). Also, it’s all piano. 

The story behind this track is that I tried really hard to learn Frost on the piano but it just wasn’t working very well (in my opinion), so I started figuring out a different way of playing it. Then I noticed that Doctor went really well on top of it, and since I was playing really fast, threw in two sections from Umbral Ultimatum too. And ended up with this. Not really sure what to make if it, but I hope you enjoy it!"

Planet Cracker

I wrote this piece for the Homestuck Music Contest. It didn't get accepted, which is unsurprising. I sorta had a night/Derse image in my head when I wrote it. I was also attempting to imitate the band Sleepy Eyes of Death, which is very evident (I think) if you listen to the first minute or so, and the album Towards a Broken Horizon. 

Pretty happy with how this turned out overall. I didn't remaster this one, though.

Gravity Falls 8-bit theme

Here's where the EP stands: I've got it almost finished, but I need to fix the mastering, which I can't do right now because I'm at my relatives' and don't have my DAW. Once I get back Wednesday night (or possibly Thursday morning) I'll fix the problems and upload it to bandcamp, as well as a track or two here.

So right now I'm just spinning my wheels, messing around with trying to get a pokemon Gold/Silver-ish sound.

Something short I worked up as an opening theme for a retro-16-bit style game for a friend of a friend. Tried to evoke brass at times.. I need to work on a better voice for brass.

An unfinished track, one of several I started while on vacation in Switzerland.  I'm planning on collaborating with NTSTS on all these tracks to make a post-rockish song.

The Jungfrau (Maiden) is a ~4000m tall mountain in southern Switzerland, with an underground cog rail that goes up to its primary col, Jungfraujoch.

Another track from the Switzerland set. This one was composed on a train from Geneva to Zermatt, up through the Mattertal valley. I'm in kind of a slump with regards to composing, but I want everyone to know I'm not dead, so I'm gonna post bits of these tracks every once in a while.
