Song Biography: REVILO - COVID-20 (Original Mix)
I began Producing this track in the middle of March, right when the COVID-19 Virus started to impact the United States and many Festivals such as Ultra Music Festival in Miami was postponed or cancelled. This trend of shut-downs, postponements, and cancellations of events happening in 2020, gave me the idea of making the song about "COVID-20" aka 2020. 

If you listen to the song all the way through, you will hear the vocals referring to three different events: Ultra (Ultra Music Festival), EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival), and DBC (Dirtybird Campout). 
The phrase "What's going to happen?" is referring to the question of, what will happen to EDC, which was supposed to take place THIS WEEKEND starting 5/15/2020, and if it will be Postponed, could that possibly effect DBC (Dirtybird)? - which I was actually planning on attending again this year and is probably my preferred festival of the three. This is why "DBC" got the main drop of the track.

Coincidentally, much later after already finishing producing a "rough draft" of my track, it was announced that EDC is going to be Postponed.. TO THE SAME EXACT WEEKEND THAT DBC WOULD BE HELD ON.. and just One Week Later it was announced that DBC IS CANCELLED for 2020. This Song COVID-20, Unfortunately, Predicted what actually happened to EDC & DBC this year!!! :(

With that being said, EDC is doing a "Virtual Live-Stream" Event in place of it's Las Vegas Festival over this upcoming Weekend when the original EDC was supposed to be held before the postponement, starting 5/15/2020.. so What Better Time to Release a Song that Speaks directly to these Current Events!?!?

Hi,
My name is Daniel James Rees. I'm originally from Sydney Australia but grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and have lived in Perth, Cairns and now reside in Brisbane enjoy playing guitar a great deal....especially Blues/Rock. Not very confident with my singing yet, still experimenting. 

Thanks also for taking the time to listen to me. I'd love it if anyone out there feels like adding some vocals, a bass line, maybe some keyboards or whatever else takes your fancy!! No rules really. The only rule I go by is "Does it sound good? -Yes, then keep it...No, then trash it!"...

I have also dabbled and recorded with loops and samples to create some Minimal Techno under the name of "Love Atom" if you're interested!!
I've got a great deal of lyrics without music and a lot of music without lyrics....ideas all over the place. 

Recently I've been doing some home recording and just seeing what happens really.

I love jamming as well...if you happen to live in the Brisbane area (I live in Morningside) and would like to meet up for a jam please message me anytime and I'll try to meet up with you somehow. Unfortunately I don't have a car at the moment but I'll do my best to meet up.
