Treibend und rumpelnd, schlammig und funkelnd - versumpft mit uns krüglich und lauschet dem Sumpfophon. Eine Reise beginnt, die Krüge sprießen, Äuglein schließen, Öhrchen spitzen. Der Sumpf ist unruhig, Schallwellen treiben ihr Unwesen.

Wenn die Mango am höchsten steht geben sich Sonne und Mond einen Schlagabtausch - Battle kann beginnen. Genau wie bei Yin und Yang verschmelzen Pol und Gegenpol und setzen punktuell eine feine Nuance im Farbverlauf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Die beiden süßesten Mangos auf diesem Planeten stehen hinter den Mixern wie Smoothiemaker im Früchterausch und liefern der Berliner Sumpflandschaft eine groovie freche Sommerbrise.

Der Midtempo Flow geht durch Mark und Bein und resultiert breit gespreizte Köpfe und wipende Mundwinkel - oder so ähnlich. Was ganz sicher ist, der nie eintönige, experimentelle und immer voller FONK betankte Sound braucht einen Dancefloor und jeder Dancefloor braucht Sonne, Mond und Mango.

The friends known as Sonne, Mond & Mango decided to bring „sunny", "moony" and "fruity" vibes together and share them through their own musical representation of it. They see themselves as a manifestation of a positive force in a world that sometimes seems overloaded with negativity. Their aim is to bring back some balance through the language of music.

Inspired by passionate love with a wide range of music and not being bound to one specific genre Sonne, Mond & Mango present colourful sets and creates a deep and sensual vibe on the dance floor. Despite a variety in their musical performance, their sets still maintain a distinguishable musical note inspired by multilingual electronic music and beyond. People that ressonate with this style and musical presentation, often refer to this calling it the „mango sound“ .

The friends known as Sonne, Mond & Mango decided to bring „sunny", "moony" and "fruity" vibes together and share them through their own musical representation of it. 

Everybody is welcome to sit and dance under the mango tree, to feel and share the positive force like roots going through the fabrics of our world. 

They describe this episode as a journey through worlds of Sun, Moon and Mango while exploring a world behind a waterfall that you enter through a mysterious cave guarded by peacocks.

- Sweet melodies, lush chords and spacey reverbs invite us to open up to this new world as the night falls celestials bodies light up the sky. 

They think the stage is set for creatures of the night to come out. They might look and dance a little rough but there is nothing fear.

At the end we all find ourselves shaking to the same beat. Laughing at silly dances we do as we pour ourselves another glass of Prosecco and mango juice.

Tober&Tober ( Alle Tanzen // Hannover ) presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.102

Blut ist bekanntlich dicker als Wasser und Familie ist ein Bund fürs Leben. Dass dies nicht nur leere Phrasen sind leben und lieben Simon und Marvin so leidenschaftlich vor wie es nur sein kann. So verwundert es auch nicht, dass das gemeinschaftliche Erlebnis für die beiden einen hohen Stellenwert besitzt. 

Seit nun etwas mehr als 5 Jahren stehen die beiden gebürtigen Hildesheimer Jungs Seite an Seite - sowohl vor als auch hinter den Decks und frönen ihrer gemeinsamen Liebe - die elektronische Musik. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit riefen sie auch ihre eigene Partyreihe namens ‘Alle Tanzen’ ins Leben, welche sich in den zurückliegenden Jahren zu einer absoluten Erfolgsgeschichte entwickelt hat. Gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden von Nackt auf Tahiti und Into the Woods Germany haben sie in der Kulturfabrik Löseke Hildesheim ein Zuhause gefunden, welches sie seither unzählige Male mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail verzaubert und so zu einer absoluten Top-Adresse in Mitteldeutschlands Clubkultur gemacht haben. 

Als DJ & Produzenten brennen Simon und Marvin ebenso leidenschaftlich für ihre Sache und so verwundert es auch nicht dass auch ihr musikalisches Schaffen von einer unbändigen Qualität geprägt ist. Dabei ergänzen sich die Jungs wirklich wie Yin und Yang und das hört und fühlt man bei ihrem Sound auf ganz besondere Weise. Ihr Podcast für unsere Reihe macht da keine Ausnahme - ein Set mit dem Prädikat ‘Weltklasse’ und nein da übertreiben wir ganz sicher nicht, aber davon könnt ihr euch gern selbst überzeugen.

Ukik is just the opposite of her real name: Kiku. She was born into a Japanese family in Germany. Kiku means Chrysanthemum: a flower which gets up by herself when trod. But as she is not only a flower which stays in one place, her friends had the idea to turn it around to  U-Kik (“you-kick“).

Kiku's curiosity led her to travel to many places in the world and learn different languages to understand and feel different cultures from the inside. Having grown up with classical music, she felt more and more attracted to strong and "bad" music like Rock and Techno. During her trip to Brasil, she was fascinated by samba, Bossa nova and Mpb. After starting to live in Berlin, the world came to her and so did world music.
When someone likes so many different kinds of music, there comes a wish to unite them into one beautiful piece. It is like when you want to invite all your friends with different interests and different kind of energies to your place for a wonderful and unforgettable evening with good conversations and laughter.

Thomas was caught by the enchantment of music since the very beginning. Working as a graphic designer for 16 years, it felt natural to step into the world of sound design. Having a big affinity with tribal music, he combines organic sounds and rhythms to his productions, carrying the listener to places beyond their audio system. His sets start out nice and slow, and rise to intense levels, capturing the audience on a trip through carefully selected sounds and productions.

Although not stuck to a specific genre, his style touches elements of deep, melodic, slow house and tribal. He produces different sounds for different occasions, mostly by himself, sometimes joining forces with other musicians.

And with success: his first solo EP, titled Athinouk, is released on Tropical Twista Records in May 2016. More releases followed on Amsterdam based Phat Elephant Recordings and brand new label Whirling Wolf.

His music is played by a number of DJ's, such as Mira, Oceanvs Orientalis, the notorious Voodoohop collective from Brazil, Urban Cosmonaut Radio collective and more.

Let's see what 2017 has in store for the Dutchman.

Duboko Deep is passionate collector & DJ coming out of Zagreb (Croatia). His love to music started in early age. His passion for music begins with vinyl records of disco, italo, hi-energy, Canadian disco, synth-infused, 80s music, soul …He got involved in the electronic music & house in late 80s, shortly after club music took over him. From the very beginnings Deep house was sound to which he remained most faithful, simply because it was love at the first listen! And so it continues… His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (“Deep” in Croatian)! Trough his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. It is important that they raise his emotional moment which can reach out to listeners through his selections. And so it has for years, through various clubs, lounge bars, on different kinds of events like museums, beaches giving out smiles and satisfaction to his listeners. His passion for music is to explore and mix so Deep musical languages. Peace...Love...Music!!!

Episode 005 kommt von Core-D-Lane aus Leipzig und ist auf jeden Fall mal wieder eine etwas schnellere Nummer. Ein netter Start in die (hoffentlich bald) etwas wärmere Jahreszeit. Teilweise treibend, zu Anfang ein wenig ruhiger, in der Mitte mit ein wenig oldschool Einflüssen bis hin zum heranstampfenden Ende.

Unsere Gedanken hängen noch an den sonnigen, warmen Tagen, doch wir sind nun auch im Bann des Mondes, der im kühlen Dunkel der Nacht nun noch mysteriöser erscheint. Die Zeit scheint sich zu verschieben und aus Sonne wird Mond. Und aus Mond wird Mango!

Wir haben hier nur den ersten Teil unseres Closings von der BeHome Party am 7.3.2019 wieder aufgenommen, in dem Wissen, dass für alles was folgte eure stampfenden Füße und strahlenden Backen fehlen.
Ein großer Dank also an das Beate Uwe Team und die unermüdlichen Tänzer_innen, die mit uns quer über die dunklen und strahlenden Seiten der Discokugel gehüpft sind.

Spring is calling us to sattle our easter bunnies and to ride to new adventures with the people of the slow tribe. It is a sunshine gathering of a special kind. In the far distant we see the smoke of the peace pipe that has lit up to celebrate the return of the birth star of the tribe leader Slawik, ready for his Slow Awakening. We arrive just before twilight, when sun and moon both kiss the sky. The sounds of the drums are coming closer, we are ready for the sunset ritual and all the spirits start to dance with sun, moon and mango.

First dramatic sunbeams pierced through the trees and bestowed a golden glow upon the ruins of the Archipel. Then the wind tipped over a massive bucket filled with some kind of miracle fluid that seems to wash away clothes of dancing people. But nature wasn't done showing off her beauty just yet. She created a solid path to bridge the water and used all colors of this world to invite every being onto a collective adventure.
