George Elias a.k.a Gelly wa Rhymes, a Tanzanian recording artist, was born on July 13th, 1988.
He started his music career in 2009 under the USWAZI Record Label, releasing his first single “I love you“ featuring Mwasiti in that same year.
It wasn`t until he released his second single “Mama ntilie“ featuring Ray C, that Gelly got a recognition in the music industry. He went on releasing a number of tracks over the years such as Mzuri, lovely, Elewa, Iyolele and his latest single kontena.
Apart from his music, Gelly also made an appearance in the Tanzania movie indusrty by starring in movies like Limbwata, Eda, Sangoma and Impossible.
