Autofreak is a dark and driving electro-techno track originally released in 2001 produced by John Selway under his Semblance Factor alias. Selway brought out this track from the archives for a remix challenge on his Techno Saturdays livestream & feedback session with Christian Smith. We picked the top three electro and top three techno remixes from the challenge submissions to feature on this release. From dark rolling hypnotic grooves to sharp edged machine funk, all six mixes make up a strong and varied collection of new takes on Selways underground classic.

‘Haasten’ (translates into hurrying) has been destroying crowds during Egbert’s live sets around the globe for the past few months. A dark commanding bass line that skips over the beat is accompanied by a retro sounding orchestral jab to create what is looking to become one of this year’s biggest techno tracks!

The B-side ‘Yourself’ has also proven to be a crowd pleaser and is paving the way for the future of percussion based techno. The punishing drums, deep basses, narrow mids and rattling hats kick ass throughout the track before taking a break for 30 seconds to introduce some melody and continue on mercilessly afterwards.

O.H.D. Priapus is de nieuwste aanwinst in het disputaire leven van Nijmegen, onze prachtige Keizerstad. Midden in het academisch jaar 2011-2012, ontstond bij Heeren van verscheidene faculteiten het idee een dispuut op te richten. Het onafhankelijke format werd gekozen omdat men zich niet wilde binden aan een vereniging, om zo haar eigen identiteit te behouden en te benadrukken. De filosofie van Priapus werd de filosofie waarmee deze Heeren zich identificeerden. Precies één jaar later werd deze Utopia werkelijkheid en zag O.H.D. Priapus op 24 mei 2013 het levenslicht.
