From Homing:
It’s been a whirlwind the past couple of weeks. I had the absolute pleasure of playing at two wild queer parties—Sublet and Leak Your Own Nudes—right before Mardi Gras in Sydney, joined by our Homopleasure collective from Taiwan and the Unfunded Empathy collective from Sydney. After that, I hopped on a plane to Seoul for a rave gig, Permit, at a former power plant, co-organized by Taiwan’s Organik Festival. I feel incredibly blessed to have performed in front of such dedicated crowds—it honestly filled me with the most electric energy. I want to channel that newfound strength, pure joy, some sentiments and gratitude that I felt on the dance floor into this mix. Late summer sunshine in Sydney, late winter snow in Seoul, both captured, reflected in one, with my goofy queer-nergy.

Oh, and I want to introduce the world to a mega Mandarin pop star (who might not need introduction though) who is an aboriginal Taiwanese and has had a huge influence on generations in Taiwan, especially in our queer community. When she sings “You are my sister, you are my baby,” I just want to send that love out into the universe.
