As My Eyes Are Forced Open
for flute, violin and guitar.

This piece begins where Close My Eyes And Chill Leaves off. The double fugue material from Chill  continues developing, but gradually becomes  contrapuntally bluegrass. A flute and guitar duet is interrupted by sparks from the past, various duets of Paganini for violin and guitar are introduced.
  
Varese’s Density  for solo flute is played backwards while Russian restaurant Music is played by the violin and guitar besides it. The piece ends by going way back in time with the Music of John Dowland played backwards.

Close My Eyes And Chill

 This piece begins with a double fugue for flute and oboe which is developed and is gradual  ly transformed with hip - hop rhythms. Suddenly, falling back in time, a baroque invention takes over, leading into the Bach Chaconne manipulated with jazz harmonies.
   
A Bach choral is the transition that takes us into the club Music scene, the guitar acts out the rhythm section while the flute and oboe dance their counterpoint. We end with the double fugue material, but leave room for continuation.

2 Dances from Satan's Great Ball for 4 guitars

2 Dances from Satan's Great Ball takes its title form Mikhail Bulgakov great novel ‘The Master and Margarita’. In both movements the music is inspired by various dances and ostinatos. Using the guitars percussive qualities I develop the melodic material with various rhythmical  elements. The tunes of these movements get treated with Brazilian rhythms, Stravinsky like ostinatos, rock grooves, African syncopation's and rhythmical techniques, etc. The devil loves the guitar, and here four of them bang away for his great ball.

Still laughing even louder for Guitar trio

Still Laughing, Even Louder’ is based on the music from an early orchestral piece of mine called ‘And Laugh Even Louder’. After this orchestral work was not chosen for a performance I wrote an answer to my disappointment with this guitar trio. The piece uses a simple pentatonic melody and develops it with various extended techniques. The piece ends with the melody as a  choral being played at different times and tempos by the three guitarists, creating an obscure and dreamy atmosphere
