This Sunday we spoke with African American entrepreneurs Jourdan & Tameshia who are the founders of Kinkofa - the only digital family history platform intentionally designed to reconnect Black families. 

Jourdan & Tameshia spoke about the autosomal DNA test transfer tool they created in-house - a tool that connects African Americans descendants of slavery-disrupted family lines, adoptions, or migrations to one another.

They also spoke about the oral history capturing tool they created called Rememory - as well as their Black cemeteries app.

Threaded throughout the conversation was the theme of why finding, capturing, and preserving African American genealogy, history, and culture is important...and how important it is to find our families' histories and stories.
