Bluebird was written after seeing bluebirds flying by as I was standing outside playing my ukulele. 
Inspired also by the songwriting of Dolly Parton and other storytelling songwriters.

On the Outside

A true story inspired by my grandmother and the quilt that she gave me.  The quilt is made with pieces of my family memories, including the curtains from the kitchen.

My composition played on an F# Native American style flute from High Spirits flutes.

Falling Wind

Gene plays Native American flute, Ukulele, penny whistle, keyboards and sings. He also composes music and occasionally writes lyrics.  Gene is inspired by the world around him and by the vastness of the universe.
