i'll be frank; i had a brain block with this one. with all the yoasobi covers i've done (honorable mentions to sumika, cidergirl and tuyu), i've become so used to doing fast pieces that when i meet songs like these, which have a lot of empty space for instruments, less vocals and a slower pace, it makes me hesitant on how to get on with it, as i feel compelled to fill that space with a creation of my own. i've never been a creator, merely a copycat, tweaking bits and pieces of songs would be considered inventive of me. so this one was hard. 

and everything that could go wrong went wrong. either i forgot to press record, i ran out of recording space, or the recording came out oddly murky, it all happened and i was at a loss. apologies for the delayed cover

it saddens me to say that i am burned out. tired of covering songs, fearful of the black and white keys i used to love. i pray that this isn't going to be a permanent installation, and i don't intend to continue playing if this mindset becomes more deeply engrained within me. hence, i will be taking a week off from the weekly covers, to hopefully find the passion i used to have with each cover. hope to see you all soon
