General Admin's second EP represents a more polished, dynamic and melodic sound than their previous work. Named during a drunken discussion about the lyrics of a 90s Europop classic, techno techno techno techno still sees the band subvert expectations about song structure and time signatures, but represents a clear shift towards more anthemic vocal lines and memorable riffs.

Adam, Matt and Mike formed the band in 2016 as escapism from the order and responsibilities - or general admin - of their lives in London. They combined their experiences from the punk, indie and progressive scenes in the UK and New Zealand while experimenting with unusual time signatures and song structures. Influences are diverse, including Fugazi, Pavement, Pinback, Delta Sleep and Town Portal. The resulting sound is a heady mix of math rock, post punk, indie, and experimental rock that is simultaneously catchy and challenging. It will make you want to tap your foot, but you might fall over.
